Lame del Sorbo
Merlot del Molise – 2019
Denominazione di Origine Controllata
ORGANIC WINE
Merlot grapevines grow at an altitude on 650 meters located in the Lame del Sorbo area. Grapes are harvested in the first ten of October and vinified as single variety 100% pure Merlot to test the potential and the outmost characteristic this variety can offer. A scornful and rough wine with tannins in the leading role accompanied by freshness and fruit notes. This is an expression of the local terroir characterized by high altidute hills and high temperature excursion.
TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby red. Intense flavors of blackberry jam, violet and red roses. Very fresh on the palate. Still young but will age beautifully.
